You live longer standing than.sitting, 5 years longer at least. You have less doctors visits, and a better brain. It gets exercised with all you encounter. Our minds and bodies are built to walk at least 5 miles, 8 kilometres, per day. Walking and working all day in a garden is just as good. Walking all day picking mushrooms in BC forests is excellent.
